Time to replace your roofing?

 

• We at Adirondack Roofing understand the tremendous abuse roofing can receive from the weather in our region. Do you see broken, cracking, curling, buckling, discolored or loose roofing?  Do you have water stains on your ceilings?  If so it is time to re-roof your home. Deciding it’s time for new roofing is the first step in the process. 
• Correctly tearing off the old roofing system lays the ground work for a good, proper, installation of your new roof.

• Removal of the old worn out roofing allows us as your roofing contractor to do a top side inspection of your roofs deck or sub-structure.  This inspection will look for deterioration such as rot, insect infestation, mold, mildew and structural damage to the sheathing and the general structural health of your roof. Removing the old roofing will also allow us to install snow and ice shield on all eaves and in all valleys under your new roofing.
• It is also important that old cracked and otherwise worn out flashing located under the original layer of shingles be replaced as needed.
• During the process of removing your old roofing, we will remove all materials and place either in a truck or a dumpster. We remove all debris from the roof being careful not to damage your lawn, shrubbery or landscaping.
• We will tarp cover areas as needed.
• When removal of all debris is completed we can then replace and sub-structure and flashing if needed.
• And finally, your new roofing materials can be installed!
